Cecilia Goulooze has joined the team of The Breathing Academy & Del Ferro as an all-round staff member & breathing coach. Cecilia has worked for more than a decade in the (fashion) PR world where she was co-responsible for communications & PR for many national and international clients. During this career she experienced burnout and hyperventilation complaints and with the help of the breathing therapy at The Breathing Academy she overcame all these complaints.

She felt, after the process with Ingrid Del Ferro, that it was time for a career switch. Now she is taking her communications background and experience into her new position.

My story

"With a severe burnout, hyperventilation symptoms and panic attacks, I started the breathing training at The Breathing Academy.

Actually, even as a young girl, I had bad breathing (pain in my throat, pressure on my chest & always feeling nervous), which led my parents to say for years; ''go to Del Ferro!'' Stubborn as I can be, I happily walked on with many complaints. Until I developed so many symptoms including panic attacks, heart palpitations and extreme fatigue that I simply couldn't take it anymore. I felt it was time to drastically change my life. Through the conversations with Ingrid I started to feel instead of just constantly being in my head. Feeling what suits me as a person, both professionally and privately, and feeling what correct breathing is. The conversations with Ingrid included mental aspects of the process in addition to the exercises. This was a very instructive process for me and inspired me to be part of this meaningful work."
